Storm Preparedness
We are lucky to live in Pensacola; it is a city with beautiful white sand beaches and a rich history which offers a great quality of life. Unfortunately, the price that we pay for these amenities is the annual hurricane season which lasts from June 1st through November 30th each year. After the destruction of Ivan and the more recent storms that we have experienced, everyone understands how important it is to be prepared when the tropics begin to stir.
With that in mind, we wanted to offer you some helpful tips and some online resources for storm and emergency preparation.
- First and foremost, ensure your family’s safety. Please heed all evacuation orders and warnings.
- If you do evacuate and you have pets that you do not take with you, please make arrangements for their care, and do not assume that your fences will be in place after the storm to keep your furry friends from wandering.
- Before the storm, please secure or bring inside all patio furniture, lawn decorations, bird feeders or anything else that might be stored outside. One of the major dangers to people and property in any windstorm is the flying debris.

Renter's Insurance
Did you know that your landlord's
insurance does not cover your personal property, such as furnishings,
clothing, and tv or stereo equipment? Did you know that you are libel
for accidents that occur in your rented home? Anyone that rents, whether
it is an apartment or a house needs renter's insurance. The landlord's
insurance does NOT cover your personal property or your liability in
a rented home.
Renter's insurance is very affordable, and you can
usually get it through your current car insurance carrier. We have provided
